Understanding the car’s capabilities, vehicle mechanics, track characteristics, personal physical abilities, preparation for driving, and typical mistakes people often make—these are the topics covered in the theory of driving technique. This is the first important step we will take together.

Simulator

is invaluable for improving speed and handling critical situations on the race track.

Just like airplane pilots, professional racers use simulators for a significant part of their training. A faithfully configured simulation of a specific car and a perfect digital twin of the race track will prepare you for the real track challenges you'll face during our Trackday. After training on simulators, you’ll feel exhausted, similar to driving a real race car. The simulator is especially invaluable before actual track driving. It boosts confidence, increases speed, and helps avoid serious mistakes that could have unpleasant consequences on the track.

Karting Track

reminds you of real physical laws

Physics works the same way on a karting track as it does on the road, but here, you perceive it more clearly. Racers often have an intense karting background. Driving on a karting track will help you improve in many ways:

• Car Control: Strengthens your perception and reaction to vehicle dynamics, helping you understand crucial factors like grip, understeer, and oversteer—essential for track driving.


• Balance and Steering: The kart has a low center of gravity and responds well to driver commands. You will learn to give the car quick, precise steering inputs, necessary for fast driving.


• Braking: Karting will help you practice threshold braking—applying maximum braking force without losing traction. Mastering this is crucial for track driving, especially at the braking point to improve lap times. You'll also learn to release the brake at the right moment before turning, making cornering smoother both on the track and on the road.


• Cornering: Karting teaches smooth steering in tight turns, helping you balance the car with throttle and brake. On a race track, this is key to maintaining speed. You'll also get used to braking into corners and steering toward the apex, crucial for circuit driving.


• Racing Line: Develops an instinct for the racing line—the path that minimizes lap time. You'll better predict how to approach different turns, stabilize the car, and adjust your strategy for optimal speed.


• Focus and Quick Reflexes: Karting demands fast reflexes to handle track conditions, turns, and traffic. It reduces reaction time. Staying focused for extended periods while navigating sharp corners builds mental endurance, essential for track driving.


• Understanding Vehicle Reactions: You'll develop sensitivity to changes in grip. Karts provide excellent feedback, helping you precisely feel how the tires respond to your inputs. On the track, this awareness allows for small corrections with a significant impact on trajectory and lap times.

Safe Driving

You will anticipate and handle critical situations.

You will learn to anticipate potential dangers before they occur. You will learn to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles and obstacles, giving you more time to react in case of sudden events or obstacles on the track.

• Emergency braking: Learn how to stop without losing control of the vehicle.


• Threshold braking: Practice applying maximum braking force while maintaining control of the vehicle, which is crucial for avoiding collisions.


• Handling skids and loss of traction: Learn to control skids and regain control of the vehicle. You will better understand how to manage a skid and use it as an active driving technique.


• Hazard awareness and decision-making: You will practice reacting to dangerous situations, deciding when to evade an obstacle and when to brake. You will improve your ability to visualize situations and actively monitor the road and surroundings.

Trackday

Driving a sports car with an instructor

An instructor sits beside you in a sports car while you drive, providing a perfect assessment of your driving style. They will guide you on how to drive faster, help eliminate driving mistakes, and fine-tune details you may not notice on your own.

• Personal Instructor
  You will be guided by professional drivers Jiří Kalista and Isabelle Biela. They will teach you techniques that are often overlooked in group courses. Precise feedback will allow you to improve effectively. You will have enough time for everything. Our priority is your safety and maximum experience.
  


• Individual Driving Sessions
  You will practice driving the ideal racing line, braking points, throttle and brake control, and many other key skills. You will apply knowledge from theoretical driving technique training, simulators, go-karts, and handling extreme driving situations. This allows you to improve quickly and consistently achieve good lap times on the track.


• Telemetry and Video Analysis
  During your sessions, we measure detailed telemetry data, and your driving is recorded. We analyze lap times, acceleration, braking, gear shifting, steering inputs, and more. Telemetry analysis is used by professional racers for training. Your driving will be thoroughly analyzed and compared to that of a professional. You will see clear progress in your driving through data.


• Prepared Vehicles
  If you do not wish to drive your own car, we provide well-prepared sports cars such as the Porsche GT4, ABT, or other vehicles that match your driving skill level and goals. You can drive, for example, the ABT RS3-R (500 hp), ABT RS7-Legacy (760 hp), or ABT XGT.


• Exclusive Club Approach
  The entire training program is always limited to a small number of participants to ensure a personalized approach to each driver.

Jiří Kalista

A well-known personality in rally sports, excellent mechanic and engineer, corporate test driver for ABT-Czech.

He loves to share his extensive experience from dozens of races and many victories in rally and circuit racing.

As a rally car pilot, he has proven that he can not only drive fast,

but also fly—both low and high.

• First rally race in 2007
• Runner-up in the Free Rally Cup in 2010
• Champion of the Czech Republic in historic rally cars in 2013 and 2014
• Winner of the International Championship of the Czech Republic in rally Class 13 (A8-WRC) in 2019
• Secured second place in the Endurance Porsche Sprint Challenge (EPSC) Most 2023
• Since 2020, the Sportgarage team has been competing in Lechner Racing Porsche Sprint Challenge races
• In 2023, the team celebrated a category victory and second place overall in the Porsche Sprint Challenge
• Completed more than 400 laps on the Nordschleife at Nürburgring with Porsche Cayman GT4, Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport, and Porsche GT3

Isabelle Biela

Daughter of motorsport legend Frank Biela, a two-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner.

She progressed from karting to circuit racing.

She participated in the VW Scirocco R-Cup racing series.

Today, Isabelle works as a driver with brands like Audi, Volvo, and Mercedes. She is also an off-road driving instructor for Ineos Grenadier vehicles, which she has grown fond of.

Kristýna Kalistová

Kart racing driver and Formula 4 pilot.

She has been racing karts for six years. At age 12, she was the fastest girl in the Easy 60 category, and at 13, she was the fastest girl in the Easy 100 category.
She participates in Formula 4 tests with the Austrian team Renauer and is a former member of the Buggyra Academy. She is one of six girls worldwide selected for David Coulthard’s program for future F1 female drivers in the More Than Equal project. Along with Jiří Kalista and Isabelle Biela, she will help improve your karting technique.

She excels in technically and physically demanding 100cc kart driving.

She consistently achieves excellent lap times on the track.

You may have spotted her in the paddock with a Formula 4 car.

She is beginning to gain experience on circuit tracks as well.
